I've been to Osaka!Osaka people,language,and FOOD,it's so exciting!
It's located near mail streets,stations,
I think it so convenient and clean!
In this alley,There are lots of bars, restaurants which are more classy than those in other area.
There is a little different atmosphere from other places।
You can spend a wonderful night in this alley.
These are what I saw in "Do-tonbori Gokuraku Syoutengai"
and she plays music with the saw!
It makes a very nice tunes with some sense of nostalgia.
They reproduce japanese old town in a building.
This is beef gristle on a skewer cooked with 2 several kinds miso ,ginger and negi(leek?)
They sell also konnyaku and quail's eggs on a skewer.I've never had these food before, but they are wonderful taste! And the seller,a woman has much sense of humor!
It's a famous advertising doll,called "Kuidaore doll"
It's also a simbol of culture of foods in Osaka(Minami).
They serve only natural fish, not farm-raised.
Lately, most of globe fish in the market is farm-raised,that is cheaper than natural one.
And can you see many fins of the globe fish on the board?Do you know what's for? It's for hot sake with roasted fins in.if you taste it,maybe it's not familiar to you,but once you get used to it,very very tasty and makes you warm in the cold, winter night.
But I didn't have enough time to enjoy it.
Just picture I took.....!

It's snowing today, in Kamakura!
Lately, snowing can be hardly seen in Kamakura.
Here is the entrance of Kamakura Shinto shrine.
She is a saleswoman,selling charms,etc.
Do you know Omikuji?
It's a paper on which oracle(fortune) is written.
It's a paper on which oracle(fortune) is written.
Every year, thousands of Japanese buy these papers to check their fortune.
Today,I bought it.
My oracle in this year is the photo on the right.
Two words of kanji says "suekichi",which means a little good luck।mmm...
I tied my paper on the string.
I upload the latter part of snowing Kamakura tomorrow!

This is Fujisan(Mt।Fuji) photographed from a plane!
I see so many Japanese being happy when they can see Fujisan by chance,or when they can see it through the window at their houses, and many of them says,"I'm happy to see Fujisan, and I can feel I'm japanese.Really I am."
But, I can hardly see japanese who visited Fusisan,or visited anywhere to see Fujisan, unless they like climbing or big fan of Fujisan.
Anyway,Fujisan is the most beautifu and highest mountain in Japan, catching japanese heart,
and inspiring our patriotism.
Small,but beautiful island,Enoshima!
This is Enoshima Island, where you can see Fujisan so clearly especially in the winter!
It's near kamakura.
Do you know old capital,Kamakura?

1.6.2008 Mochitsuki Party !
Do you know mochituki or mochi?
Mochi is a what is called rice cake in English,
and the photo on the left is the party when my friends were making rice cake, which is called mochituki. At that time,my other friend made soba.Do you know soba is the best taste when they are made,as the point of tasting soba is the flavor and the feel when you chew and swallow it.
That's why they make sound when they eat soba,to enjoy it's flavor,by sippng it।
